IDENTITY

San Francisco Film Preserve

San Francisco Film Preserve (SFFP) restores, preserves, provides access to the world’s cinematic heritage, ensuring that films – of all genres and eras – remain accessible for future generations.

This calls for an understated, modern look that lets the films themselves take the spotlight.

The brand fonts and palette evoke art museums and impactful colors from beloved frames, and pull from the process of film preservation itself, together bridging epochs while remaining current.

The founders of this non-profit organization opted to forgo an additional mark (included small at the bottom of this page) and implement their lockup minimally across channels, keeping the focus on film images and bold typography for their digital presence and outreach.

Visit filmpreserve.org to learn more about their work.
